Honoring the accomplishments of 40 Greater Omaha entrepreneurs, business owners, managers and professional men and women under 40 years of age

In the 18 years since joining his family’s company full time, James Foxall has helped transform Tigerpaw Software from a small “garage” business to one that employs more than 30 people and produces software packages for the business software industry.

In his role as vice president, Foxall helped Tigerpaw produce an award-winning Customer Relationship Management software solution utilized by more than 10,000 users in 28 countries.

In addition to overseeing development, support and training at Tigerpaw, Foxall has written 14 computer books about several software technologies – including C#, MCSD, Visual Basic, and Access – that have been released in multiple languages worldwide. He has also written for a computer software-advising magazine and become an international speaker on Microsoft Access and Visual Basic.

Considered an authority on application interface and behavior standards of Windows applications, Foxall has been featured on several television news shows, and in trade publications and newspaper articles for his technological expertise.

In his programming work, Foxall – who is working on an MBA, but considers himself mostly self-taught – has developed commercial applications in many languages and has written hundreds of thousands of lines of code.

Foxall’s goal for the future is to continue to grow Tigerpaw and eventually take over as CEO when his father, David Foxall, retires.
