Tigerpaw’s Business Suite 8 Helps Tame Communications at PGA

Software is used to track all telephone, cable and circuit installations – reduces labor

Tigerpaw Software today announced a major implementation of its business suite of software products aimed at the service industry. The suite, which includes contact management, quoting, customer service tracking and inventory control, was used to track the installation and maintenance of the telephone communications network used at the PGA Tournament at the Valhalla golf course in Louisville, KY.

Business Telephone Systems, a long time user of Tigerpaw Software in Louisville, won the bid to install telephones for the PGA Championship Tournament at Valhalla. Copper wire was installed on 268 acres, 1468 phones were connected, 56 data circuits were installed and maintained – and it was all orchestrated using Tigerpaw Software’s Business Suite 8 Enterprise Edition. Every phone installation, change order, trouble call, inventory issue and purchase order was processed through Business Suite 8. According to Jerry Reed, General Manager at Business Telephone Systems, “It allowed us to focus on the issues at hand to support the PGA championship, rather than on the paperwork. Without Tigerpaw’s software, we would have needed many more people to support an implementation as successful as what we accomplished.”

Business Suite 8 is a multi-faceted CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system that covers both front and back ends of the enterprise. The Business Suite is designed to look and feel like a Microsoft Office product and integrates with the Office suite. Users of Microsoft Office or Outlook enjoy a decreased learning curve and see productivity increases immediately.
